Boy did we have a good summer season with the family! There's nothing we love more than being on the mountains chasing bear together.
The crisp air and stunning scenery at every turn simply can't be beat!
One weekend we had a fun chase and it's funny because they dogs blew up in the middle of the night and of course we yelled the typical "Shut up" out the camper window without thinking a thing of it.
The next morning we cut a road and the dogs exploded. We turned em loose + they chased that bear for 6 miles going in circles about 100 yards from our camp.... guess we figured out what they were barking at in the night!
When the bear finally treed, it was about a 200 yard walk from the truck after we drove down to the meadow to park.
We were walking in and some people that used to run hounds we had met the day before were also creeping into the tree. They waited for us and we walked in together.
We got our photos, told the dogs good job and were starting to leave the tree when that bear decided he was out of there!
Khloe and Ella were still with me capturing some final shots when the bear decided to bail.
It was headed the opposite direction, but Ella told Khloe to get out of the way and pushed her forward anyways. Khloe's eyes got huge and she took off toward the truck.
She didn't take one second to look back, she just ran + beat us all by a mile and hopped in as quick as she could!
She was positive that bear was coming for her and she wasn't sticking around to find out!
Needless to say, it was a good run for the dogs + an adventure for the kids and we all had a good time!
This finally led us to find a compromise. We decided that going hunting with his friends every other weekend was a good fit and we implemented it right away!
Three kids later… our son Jack started showing a major interest in hunting. I mean, this kid breathed all things that had to do with it!
Originally we thought he was a little too young, but we decided to take him and try it out. He became a totally different kid! When coyote hunting one night, he sat so still and didn’t want to move that he peed his pants twice!
This boy is the epitome of a hunter and he loves it more than anything else. Soon after our girls started becoming more interested so we embarked on the Hunting Fam journey to test the waters!
As we started down this path, we struggled to find clothing for all our kids to wear! We set out on a journey to create our own line -- nearing the first completed project in this journey! We’re here to be your one stop shop -- and it’s been a ride. We have had a blast, working together, sourcing shops, and finding the right fit to make this work.
When we started The HuntingFam, we really wanted to get Dustin out of his full-time job, and start bringing him into our family business full-time! We will be starting that now, and there are so many emotions to go with it.
We are so excited, grateful, and scared. I can’t wait to see the results of all these big decisions we are making now to just GO FOR IT.
We are all about chasing our dreams -- and we’re officially taking the big leap! It’s scary, unnerving, but also SO exciting.
I encourage you all to do it too -- chase those dreams and go after it! Don’t let anything stop you. Dive in 100% and see where it takes you!
We are WEEKS away from launching, and we could NOT be more excited! It’s because of you that we are getting closer and closer to this launch. We feel your support and are SO grateful to have you here!

When it comes to choosing a snack cooler, we tend to take things seriously around here. I plan my life around food + are your kids constantly hungry too?
We started our hunting journey off with a cheap cooler that we bought at Wal Mart and although it served its purpose for maybe two seasons, it was time for a major upgrade.
Now if you’re like me, I started off our journey buying what I could at the best price possible, but sometimes you gotta finally realize that in most cases… you get what you pay for.
I mean, I don’t want to sound cliche, but it’s the truth! You get a mediocre product and then you buy it three times when you could have simply bought quality in the first place vs quantity in the long haul. Anyone else do this too?
Needless to say after fourteen years of marriage we are finally figuring this out and when we set out for a new snack cooler, we chose not to mess around!
We went with a 20 can RTIC cooler and boy when that bad boy arrived, I was blown away! It’s fully insulated, amazing quality, + it floats. I’m not sure we will ever use it’s floating feature, but they say, “never say never” right?
Originally I had ordered the 40 can cooler and it was HUGE! Lesson learned that I probably should have measured and cut a box to the dimensions on their site when deciding which to buy! It would have saved some time + while running a business ourselves, we now understand that the company offering free returns is a major benefit to the customer, but it’s also an added cost that truly could have been avoided.
Anyways, we have used RTIC products for years and are so happy with the quality they put out + the price point they hit. If you've purchased one of our ColdStrike tumblers or travel mugs, those are RTIC as well.
We tested out our 45 QT hard cooler this season and it is awesome! It fits so much more than our last one did + the design tapers at the bottom so it was the only company that had a larger interior while still being able to fit on our box.
The other cool feature is the slots it has on the sides to put a strap through and tie it down that way. No more hooking chains to handles for us! It doesn't rock + stays put.
We also have a duffel bag + I keep their cooler bag in my car for the occasional grocery store run or Costco pit stop on the way home ;)
I guess you could say we are RTIC fans through and through over here! The price point and quality can't be beat + they've proven themselves over time and we couldn't be happier with them.

I never knew jumping in on this hound hunting journey we’d be where we are today.
About a month before we got married Dustin got his first hound and started hunting with some buddies at work. Now I’d like to say the rest is history right here, but not so fast!
I was the pregnant 19 year old wife at home and he wanted to be on that mountain every weekend…. Perhaps that should have told me something about how fun I may have been to be around, but I wasn’t looking in at myself just yet.
It caused a lot of problems for the first several years until one day we had Jack! When that boy was old enough to think for himself, it was all things hunting and hounds.
I didn’t give it much thought and figured it would just be a guy thing, but then, the girls also got really interested and started joining them. They would go more often than Jack because they were older, but eventually Jack decided NO MORE.
Dustin started by taking him coyote hunting a few times and he’d come home to tell me how this kid “morphs into a new being!” I didn’t quite believe it, but one day went out with them and I kid you not, I’ve never seen a three year old that could sit so still and not say a word for hours….. He even peed his pants twice one night because he didn’t want to move.
After about a season of the girls joining their dad on the mountain + Jack begging to go, I decided to give it a shot. Now this is about 12 years of me being stubborn and a lot of personal development later that I opened my mind to a life that could be.
So, we headed off on a journey to “Inspire Families to Brave the Mountains Together” and here we are nearly two years in and we have all found our place in the hills and on Instagram as @thehuntingfam and @coldstrike.gear.
For Dustin, he absolutely loves to see the dogs work. To see them chase down a track and tree that bear at the end of the race makes him proud.
For me, I love to be with the family and document our journey. This is the space that Dustin’s passion and mine collide to create what I feel to be magic.
When you leave at the end of a long weekend and everyone feels refreshed, you know you’re winning at something.
The kids love camping and the dogs. I’m sure they’ll all find their different reasons eventually, but for right now, they love the mountains and they love to have cool stories to tell their friends at school.
To be honest, I’d like to say I don’t know how we came from one dog to ten, but there were a few ways Dustin found a way to be sneaky about it over the years.
First off, we did get a new puppy with each kid! I was ok with that because I thought that it would leave us with a max of five, but one day there was a knock on the front door around Christmastime and we opened it to find a box on the porch.
You better believe that if you’re thinking puppy you are right! In that Huggies diaper box with a bow on top, there was a puppy inside. Now, after thinking about all the people with kids in diapers that could have possibly dropped that off, our neighbor crossed my mind.
Sure enough I was right and it was he and Dustin that concocted a plan they knew I wouldn't say no to!
I’m sure that all you Houndsmen out there know all the sneaky ways you may have found to get yet another dog without your other half having an option, but if not, you’re welcome!
Now you too can become the crazy dog people with us!
See ya on the mountain!

Now I'm not one to toot my own horn, but can we just say that I did earn some points on my self-navigation track record this year!
I may have waited until after Kaden and Kayson started hiking before I told Dustin I really wanted to go, but he found where they were going and dropped me into another canyon to meet up with them.
After hooking an extra tracking collar to my backpack and telling me he'd feel better about dropping his seven year old boy in the hills with the GPS instead, I headed in with the instructions to make it to the tallest tree Dustin pointed out and then a dry river bed that follows the canyon down.
I knew I had a 30 minute hike to find them so off I went with the goal to see how fast I could make it. I made it to that first tree Dustin had pointed out quite quickly… I also forgot my phone and I don’t wear a watch so my sense of time was nil this day.
I was PSYCHED when I hit that tree… a “hell yeah” out loud was said with perhaps a small fist bump because really, I have no sense of direction and I knew I had to prove something this day.
Next step was finding the river bed and luckily in a canyon that’s an easy direction to navigate, but let’s now discuss the conversation I had with one of Dustin’s friend’s wives….
We were eating dinner + chatting and she said, “Don’t you worry about snakes? I hear they are terrible this year.” Well, I hadn’t until now so let’s just say, “thank you Lexi” for that!
As I hit the river bed and began walking down it the only thing I could think about were dang rattlesnakes. I remember saying out loud, “that looks like a good spot for a snake to hide” and “damn you Lexi!” The entire time.
I kept plugging along trying to see how fast I could make it to meet up with the guys and I kept telling myself I wasn’t going to be the worst mistake we made today. Funny how we start to doubt ourselves when the fear of being alone in the hills with no sense of direction kicks in.
Now the creek bed started to get higher and higher when it came to how far I had to jump down so I had to begin to navigate the hills and ledges on either side realizing I wasn’t sure what side they’d be on.
I forget how much I rely on the security I feel when the dogs are with us so of course my mind started to play tricks on me. I thought I was hearing things only to stop and realize it was all in my head.
I remember at one point trying to determine if it was worth heading back to where I came from or keep going. I’m not one to quit, so I focused on moving forward and pushed out everything else except for finding the others.
I’ve never really hiked terrain full of ledges so it was a lot of ups + downs until I hit a point where I had to pick a side. I was wishing I would have asked Dustin what side of the canyon I should stick to (noted for next time), but I picked a side and owned it until I got stuck.
I found myself on a ledge and didn’t know which way to navigate. I had yelled for Kaden to see if he’d be able to hear me with the echo of the canyon, but I got no response. I tried following some Elk tracks along thinking that they’d probably go down to find water at some point and I could continue on my merry way.
Well, I wasn’t sure how they got down and the edges were only getting higher. Now, there may have been some tears shed, me wishing I was in the comfort of the truck with other people instead of on a hillside by myself.
I walked circle after circle, turning around pissed off headed back to the truck and then talking myself out of it again. I tried finding my way down and looking over the edge to see if I could backtrack a little and then make it up the other side.
I just wasn’t finding the best route at this point and I was DONE. I was walking back to the truck mad at myself and wondering how far back I’d have to go when I heard a glorious yell!
Now, most days I wouldn’t call Kaden yelling glorious, but this day it made me happy because he’s spent more time in the mountains than I and to be honest, I really didn't want to lose another mountain navigation point with Dustin.
We finished the 5 ½ miles down the canyon + up the other side while finding bear tracks in between. We may not have found a bear, but this gave us our starting point for the next day which proved to be a success.
Now I want to compare this with our lives because how many times when the going gets hard do we finally give in? When the biggest success is just on the other side of that final ledge.
And how sweet the victory is when we decide to give our dreams, goals, and ambitions just one more shot and they are realized on the other side.
We might want to scream and shout + shed a tear or two along the way, but unless we keep putting one foot in front of the other, the life we want to live, the bear we want to catch, or the goal we want to reach will never be obtained.
So don’t give up, keep hiking that mountain, and soon you will find victory on the other side of that ledge.

Think about trying to get work done with kids at home. You may have a designated space where you can go and close the door, but if you have littles at home, you know you can’t shut mom-brain off if no one is out there watching them right?
You’re constantly listening for the pantry door or little footsteps running through the house. You can’t dive all in on a project you’re working on because you don’t know when they’ll try to barge in or sneak the bag of tortilla chips into the living room and make a holy disaster.
So if you want to be all in with your work so later you can be all in with the fam, then you’ve gotta take that time and figure it out. There’s nothing worse than the constant interruptions throughout the day where you feel like you were “working” all the livelong day, but you don’t know exactly what you accomplished. Anyone else had those?
If you are working from home building your dream then you most likely have chosen to do so and you need to first let go of any guilt you have around that.
You shouldn’t feel guilty for chasing a dream that will better the lives of those you love. We just have to figure out how to do what we want in the most productive way.
So, if you “work” all day and never seem to get much done, it’s time to find the time that you can be all in without distraction.
If you’re living in a scarcity mindset like I was, it’s time to let that go and hire the sitter. I promise, it will be life-changing, somehow the money keeps appearing to pay them, and you get so much done to move the needle in the business your working on. Soon you are gonna be wondering why on earth you didn’t do it sooner, I promise!
If you wanna see Dustin out of his comfort zone, just take him to the beach! The
vast ocean + crashing waves are enough to raise his stress a few levels. He's never been too fond of the water or of his swimming skills, but I'm pretty sure he could keep his head above water if the need arose.
Last year we decided that we were no longer doing toys or presents for Christmas and have replaced it with experiences instead. Ok, don't get me wrong, we couldn't not get Jack and Khloe cap guns + I still haven't decided how I feel about the constant popping during the day!! When you live in Utah, winter usually starts to get old by mid-January!
When we were trying to decide where to go, I remembered the fact that I promised Ella we could go visit her second grade teachers in a few years. They had just moved to St Augustine after retirement and teach a surf camp. Yep, call me crazy!
You guys, there are amazing teachers and there are AMAZING teachers! We have been so lucky with all of the teachers my girls have had since moving to Southern Utah, but boy, the Fuson couple are something else. They are kind, caring, + take no crap kind of people and I am happy to say that we now call them friends.
I may be crazy, but I think it's nice to go somewhere that you at least know someone am I right? I just figured why not go learn to surf?!
We had a blast with these two! They were kind enough to take the week and spend it with us! Our Airbnb ended up being two doors down from them + they told me not to rent a car because we can all ride together. Say whaaaat? We are barely acquaintances in the classroom and you are going to drive this circus around town? Gosh, these two are awesome.... or as crazy as us!
So, off to Florida we went and we had the BEST time with some pretty awesome people! We played on the beach, learned to surf, played Paddle Tennis, fished, ate lots of fish, canoed, and enjoyed each other's company.
I tell you what, you don't come across people like this often and it was totally worth the gamble to go spend the week with strangers! We sure could use a lot more people like them in this world!
We are talking about all things mindset! This is something that I have decided to do in 2021 and I am taking massive actions to accomplish this goal. I just want to talk about leveling up our mindset and some steps that we can take to do that. Did you know, we are on autopilot 45% of our day? This is because we are all in a habit loop.
Habit loops are things that we subconsciously complete during the day. So let's talk about, for example, showering. If you get in the shower and do all the things, have you ever noticed that you do it in the exact same way every time? Think about it. That is because you are in a habit loop. You get in the shower, get out, and probably don’t even remember the order you did anything in because you were on autopilot. Okay, now this habit loop is most likely serving you because you don’t forget.
Let’s now think about habit loops that may not be serving us and the goals that we are trying to reach in our lives. First, become aware. If you are not aware of the loop or problem, how can you change it? I am going to apply this to photography because that is what I do. When I first began, I used Photoshop Elements. For those of you who don’t know what this is, it is a very basic photo editing program that was super simple to use. I started to outgrow it and I knew that I needed to change but, when I did it was hard. I wanted to cry and pull my hair out but I didn’t; I made it through it. Honestly, Photoshop was like second nature, I was in a habit loop, editing photos in the same order every single time. This is the same for the things that we are doing in life. Are your habit loops taking you where you want to go in your life?
Have you ever thought, “I want that amazing job” or “ I want to chase after that amazing dream”, but you don’t know why you haven’t gotten there or why you have not been successful yet? Back to the habit loops that we are stuck in! We need to become aware of the habits that we do everyday that are potentially not serving us. Now, I know this is kind of hard to admit this and I know that I am kind of embarrassed, but something that has held me back for the last 14 years is web surfing. Web surfing! When my husband and I first got married we did not have a lot of money so I went online and searched for hours trying to find the best deals. I could have just hopped on and got exactly what I needed. Sure I might have spent a couple more dollars but the time that I could have saved, I am not going to lie, it blows my mind!
Maybe it doesn’t seem like that big of a deal to some of you guys but I can see how that has been holding me back in my business as well. If there is a new product or program that I want to buy, I will research the crap out of it for days! That is not serving me! Your time and mine is way more valuable than that. Get what you need and be done. Save the time! If you were to pay yourself for that time spent web surfing, it would have cost you a heck of a lot more than if you would have just paid a little extra the first time you found it. Ultimately I was wasting so much of my time that could have been spent doing better things like growing my business or chasing my dreams. Think about something that you want to accomplish.
Are there habit loops or thoughts that are keeping you from getting where you want to go? Is there something in your day that you consistently do that maybe you haven’t thought about before? Maybe it just hit you; maybe you had an epiphany and realised that there are habit loops in your life. Well, I am here to push you forward!
Let’s create new thought processes, habits, and change your life! It’s up to you! Stop blaming other people and finding excuses. Become aware of the thoughts that come through your mind during the day, think about them. Try this, when you walk past a mirror, what is your immediate thought? Is it positive? Negative? As women, we are so hard on ourselves, we need to work towards letting go of that. Get rid of the bad habit loops and reach for some new ones so that we can put them in our brains and cross out the old. If we can’t do this we will never be able to change our lives. We will be stuck in the same habit loops all our lives! I have big dreams and if you are here, I think you do too! This is what we are going to do, get a notebook or open the notes app on your phone. Use anything you can to write it down. When these thoughts pop into your head, write them down. Whether they are negative, positive, or whatever. If the thought is negative, cross it out; this is called black journaling. Don’t dwell on negative thoughts, push them out and try to put positive ones in their place.
First, catch the thoughts and how they are helping you get to where you want to go. Second, upgrade those thoughts. Now, we do not have to go from zero to 60 right away, but we have to reach out of the negative and search for the positive. Set yourself up with reminders for success to set yourself up to reach your goals. Whether it be a sticky note on your bathroom mirror or an alarm reminder on your phone, find what works for you to push yourself forward.
Catch your thoughts, take control, change your lives! Once you catch your thoughts, your actions should not be far behind. We begin to see opportunities that you did not have before and things will start to fall into place. You will be able to finally start creating a life that you love living in. You have to spend the rest of your life with the brain you're in, so let’s make it great. You’ve got this!
]]>
I have had to make a lot of big changes this year and one of those changes is shifting your mindset. If you want different results then you have to start taking different actions. Sure the actions that we have taken so far in our lives have gotten us to where we are but, if you are not happy with where you are, you have got to make some massive changes and take action because if you don’t you will continue down the same path.
A story that has been on mind lately is about a guy in high school that was headed down a bad path. He was getting bad grades, hanging with the wrong crowd, skipping classes, and his mom talked him into taking the SAT test. He took it for his mom, got his score back in the mail and it said that he had scored a 1480 out of 1600.
From that day forward his life completely changed. Now, why do you think his life changed? His life changed because he began to believe a different story for himself. Think of all of the thoughts that would change in your head if you had accomplished something you never thought possible.
He goes on to become a magazine editor and 12 years later, he gets a letter from the SAT Board saying that he got sent the wrong test scores. He had actually gotten a 740.
The day that score came in the mail, he started to believe in himself and that caused him to change his environment and change his life. The day that score came in the mail, he started to believe in himself and that caused him to change his life. He completely changed his environment, he changed the group of friends he was running around with. You've gotta think about it, when you hangout with a group of friends, you are the byproduct of the expectations of those that you hangout with most.
Surrounding yourself with people that are not motivated and just sit around with excuses while you’re trying to change your life is not going to get you anywhere!
I myself have found that as I dive deeper into this, I am starting to seek out more like-minded friends who are also building a life that they want to build. I am beginning to distance myself from the people that I used to hangout with that maybe complained a lot or don’t really have the ambition to chase after their dreams the way I am. You can only help someone so much that doesn’t want to help themselves and it gets hard to be around those people.
It may not be something I anticipated or planned to do on purpose, but as you grow and start to chase down those dreams, you start to notice things in others that becomes something you don't always want to be around so naturally a little more space sneaks in.
When you start to believe in yourself, everything changes! Your environment changes, your friends change, your whole life can change! All that it takes is the story that you are telling yourself.

Today we are sharing five tips for making chores fun for the kids!
]]>Good morning to you!!! I’m so excited to talk about all things mindset. Why does mindset matter? Because by shifting your mindset, you can shift your entire life and we are going to talk a lot about it around here because it is what has gotten me to the point I’m at now and it’s what will get me where I’m going.
I mean, your mindset runs your emotions which translates into emotions, and actions. So if you are constantly in a negative state of mind, then you life isn’t going to be that great, right?!
The biggest thing that will impact your life is going to be changing your mindset. How do we shift our mindset? Let’s figure this out together:
Become aware of your thoughts:
Your mind is going to be blown when you start becoming aware of your thoughts. The number of them that freely pass through our minds without us actually thinking a thing of it. Sounds kind of counterintuitive, but the first step to changing things is simply by becoming aware.
Reframe your thoughts:
Now that we are aware of the thoughts passing through our minds and quite possibly shocked at the amount of negative ones, it’s time to reframe those into something positive. For example… bear with me because I am on the Money Mindset Train at this point in my life so let’s reframe some negative thoughts about money. To be honest, I feel like we are all pretty negative about money at some point in our lives so I think it’s a good one.
Ok, it goes something like this…
“Money can’t buy happiness.” Now in my opinion now thanks to Jen Sincero in her book, I’m a Badass at Making Money, I agree that this is just an excuse to keep ourselves in the same state that we are in.
Think about these things. Are you…
Living paycheck to paycheck?
Want to travel more often?
Stress when the car breaks or something happens?
Would having money help you achieve the things you want and stress less about the not so fun things that happen in life? YES!!
So let’s reframe…
“Money supports my happiness.”
Money might not buy your happiness, but I’m here to tell you that it will make life a lot easier + allow you to do more of what you love stress free!
Set your intention.
I will also explain why it is important to recognize why you may think of something a certain way and teach you how to reframe your thinking to reach your goals.
The intention that I chose for myself this year was wealth in all aspects of my life. Wealth in relationships, wealth in finances, and wealth with experiences.
Whatever intention you set for yourself, get to work to make progress toward that.
Today I want you to take action and reframe three negative thoughts into something more positive. That’s it, just three!
We are making progress toward the intention we set. We are not setting resolutions, but intentions because we all have somewhere we want to go in life or something we want to achieve.
The difference between those people that stay stuck and those that move forward are simply not controlling our thoughts and stories we tell ourselves about ourselves.
It’s time to level up! If you don’t like your situation, the number in your bank account, or the limits you feel are placed upon you by something that has happened in your life, it’s time to make a shift.
I’m here to be your biggest cheerleader and I’m pulling you over the mountain we are braving together. It’s time to set off on your greatest adventure yet and make things happen for yourself because if you don’t do it, no one is going to do it for you!

What an amazing weekend we had with friends + I hope you had a good one as well.
I guess I didn't realize I'd never seen a lion in a tree before. I've seen so many videos and photos that Dustin has shown me over the years, it didn't dawn on me that I hadn't actually been to the tree!
Well, this weekend changed that. Dustin texted a little after 9 am to say they think they started something and to be on standby if I wanted to come.
There was a lot of commentary happening in my head. For those of you who know me, know that I hate the cold. This is why I haven't gone lion hunting before, but as the girls and Jack are getting more interested, I think my days of staying home all winter being cozy are also coming to an end!
Anyways, I went back and forth between wanting to go to support him and not wanting to brave the weather.
He called back around 11 am and told me to head his way so I hurried and got dressed and as I was about to leave Kayden's wife, Jaysi called to ask if I was going so I bopped over and picked her up too!
Luckily, it was a beautiful 50 degree day and there's very little snow on the ground.
Funny thing though, Dustin said when he called me the first question I asked was how far I had to hike and that was Jaysi's very first question as well! ha
Needless to say, it was nice to get out of the house, see my first lion on the mountain, and spend some time hiking with good friends.
Thanks so much for being here!

Welcome, we are so excited you are here and grateful you are joining us on our journey.
We began this company because I, not only a woman, but a wife and mama was getting so frustrated with the fact that I couldn't find comfortable hunting pants for myself or my kids that fit our lifestyle.
My hubs enjoys the good camo he buys, but we as Houndsmen don't always need or want to sport camo on the mountain.
We run hounds as a family and I began to notice most of the hunting clothing in the market today is geared toward Deer, Elk, or Sheep hunters. Talking about the latest camo patterns and quiet, technical fabrics that those types of hunts require.
When chasing Bear or Lion on the mountain, my main goals are to be comfortable and stay cool... at least as cool as can be down here in Southern Utah. Quiet fabrics are never a bad thing because I don't want to hike around sounding like a plastic sack, but I wanted something solid for our family that we loved and it just didn't exist.
The only clothing that I could find for my kids were cotton pants that faded over time with legs that were too baggy and the other high-quality option was great, but again, solid colors weren't an option.
There was a huge gap in the market and we wanted to fill it and serve the market that our lifestyle lies in + forge the path in a rapidly growing industry.
We didn't want to be the people that said, "Why didn't I think of that, again!"
I've (Amanda) always loved clothes and my love for shopping runs deep. I've always dreamed of starting a clothing line and now here we are. Creating a line specifically for our lifestyle so we can all enjoy the mountains confident, cool, and in style because we set out with quality in mind.
ColdStrike is the one-stop-shop for families that brave the mountains together. We provide you with the confidence you need in knowing that the gear you buy will survive more than one child and comfortably take you anywhere your hounds do.
We have enjoyed getting input from those of you that have followed our journey thus far and we hope to create quality products that you will love!
Thank you so much for your support. It means the world!
See you on the mountain!
]]>Our lives are simply a series of decisions we've made that lead us to where we end up. Take a risk or find regret later.
We can choose to jump in on the journey or let life take us for the ride. For us, we are choosing to design a life we want to live and making the decision to take the leap.
In any situation you are faced with you have a choice. To let life control you or can take control of YOUR life and decide where you want to go.
What's the worst that can happen for us? We lose thousands of dollars. Would it be worth it in the end if we failed.... of course!
Money can be replenished, but time cannot and we don't want to get a year down the road wondering what if again. We have been there too many times and we have decided not this time.
Today we take the leap into the unknown and see where it leads. The mental shift that needed to happen for us to get here has been a ride.
Think about an idea you've had or something you've wanted to do. What's stopping you? Fear? Feeling a lack of resources?
I'm here to tell you that if you obsess enough, you can do anything you set your mind to..... truly. You WILL find a way if your reason behind it is strong enough to push you forward.
Never forget why you started and keep putting one foot in front of the other. This is YOUR life and you should live it on YOUR terms.
Dream the dream and take the first step.
Welcome to building ColdStrike and we cannot thank you enough for being here.
