Spring flower shopping at Ladybug Nursery | Cedar City, UT

Every year we take the kids to Ladybug Nursery here in Cedar and let them pick out their very own flowers to plant in our front flower bed. Let's just say it may not mesh, but the kids love it and that's all I care about!

This year was fun watching the kids run around the nursery like crazies trying to decide on the ONE plant they loved! With so many options as a kid, it was hard for them to narrow it down, but I stayed out of it ;)

We are to the point that our kids are all old enough to be pretty independent and it's a bittersweet feeling for sure. I used to think people were soooo old when they would tell me their baby is four + now I am there and I certainly don't feel old! I'll take this time to apologize for my judgement because boy does it creep up faster than you think!

I wanted to be sure we were ok to take photos in the greenhouse so I asked one of the workers and he told me that it was fine because, "they keep all of their secret plants in the back." (insert face palm emoji here). What can I say, I'm a by the book type of gal!

We may have spent a few hours there, but there were no tears + no fighting. I call that a win in my book! Dustin was pretty shopped out by the end, but he's never been one to love shopping anyways!

Now pray for us as we attempt to keep these flowers alive! Kenna picked succulents this year + I have never grown them so this could be a great learning adventure!

Thanks for stopping by!
